Tarte Shape Tape Concealer Review

Hope you are all doing well? I have another review for you as the title says we are reviewing the infamous 'Tarte Shape Tape' concealer!

This concealer is well known in the beauty industry, named number one concealer in America. I have to say I've never known a concealer like it, It's creamy easy to blend out and a little does go a long way with a matte finish.

- It is a full coverage concealer

- Amount per bottle is 10ml

- There's 30 shades now

- It is vegan

- Says it won't crease or flake

- It will give the skin a lifted, highlighted look

My opinion on the shape tape concealer is that I do really like this concealer I will say again I haven't had one like this before, it's so easy to blend with a damp beauty blender or a brush. I find I get a nicer look when I use a colour corrector underneath, as I have fine lines and bags under my eyes. Once its been on for a little bit it won't feel heavy even setting it with powder it won't cake up under the eye, plus it doesn't feel drying under the eye either which is always a bonus.

I have been using this for years now. The only thing I don't like, and this has nothing to with the concealer itself, I can't seem to pick the right shade on the site. I'm a pale women, I never tan so I'm always looking at the lighter end of the range so I'll try to vary the ones I pick depending on what time of year it is. 12B is the shade that seems to work for me and that's also what the site seems to match me with but even then I'll find that too light, but if I try the next shade it's a little dark for my skin. That's the only thing I find annoying about the site, It does help you pick the shade they think will suit you. I'll have to try more concealers out and hopefully find a holy grail, at the moment the tarte shape tape is the one I will always go back too.
