How does the Morphe Fluidity Foundation & Fluidity Concealer wear over eczema?

Hello readers,

I hope you are all having a wonderful week! What are peoples plans for the weekend as we have nice dry weather? Let me know in the comments what you are doing or have done this weekend!

Today I have a good review with the Morphe foundation and concealer set. Well it's not really a set I'm calling it a set as they are both full coverage and work well together..

Lets get on with the review.

I'll start with the foundation;

I bought this off the morphe UK site,

It was £16

It's full coverage

There are 60 shades to choose from I was shade F1.110 matte

24 hour wear

Good for all skin types (which makes me nervous when they say this, as this isn't always the case) but it says for normal to oily skin.

If you would like more information on the product then please go to the morphe site or if you are near a store that sells morphe then go in and have a look and ask about it.

Now for the concealer;

I bought this off the morphe UK site

It was £9

It's full coverage

There are 31 shades to choose from I was shade C1.65

16 hour wear

Again if you want more information on this product then please go onto the site and have a look for yourself.

This is what the products look like

I really do like the idea of foundations and concealer being on the cheaper side, yes having expensive ones are nice but if like me you suffer with your skin in any way and getting an expensive one can feel like you are throwing your money down the drain if it doesn't work for you. But if you get ones like these and it's only coming to £25 for both, I think that is value for money.

Would I buy these again?

The only bad thing I can really say about this foundation is that I didn't like the smell, to me it smelt like paint but I seem to find that when I use full coverage makeup is that is always smells like paint or really strong chemicals, don't know why but that's just me but apart from that,

I would get this again if my skin didn't play up with it, I'll explain more of the problems I had in the next part. But yes I honestly think that this is a great thing, I mean there are 60 shades of foundation to choose from, so I think most people can find the shade for them for whatever time of year, if you tan in the summer or stay pale all year like me then I definitely think you can find a shade and people that have deeper skin tones can find a shade for themselves too. Also having 31 shades of concealer I think is really good as you can find a shade to match your foundation or have one a lighter shade or darker shade. I've also seen people use concealer as contour, so you have a variety of options with what you can do with this range. It does transfer onto clothes if you hug someone, but it doesn't move once it is set with powder but the way it looks it doesn't need to be set but I set it anyway just because I always set my foundation. I always set my concealer as well but if I had normal skin then yes I would buy this again but here is what happened with my eczema as it was kind of bad when I was trying this out. I did try both for a month so I could get a good idea if it affect me or not.

Does these affect my skin?

Unfortunately this did affect my skin the foundation was ok for a while but it did start to dry my skin out on my forehead and around my nose, where I do suffer with most foundations, since it's winter and the wind can be really cold from time to time, I always get watery eyes which I now have been told by a doctor that I just suffer from dry eyes and it will be worse in winter so I can't get away from that and a runny nose which is completely normal but not great when you have make up on and you can't really touch up throughout the day. With the concealer I found from the get go I always suffered with it, it felt like it made my under eyes burn a little when I would first put it one but then it would go away, after a while and once I had set it with powder. But I gave them a good try out for a month as I said before but I'm going to be doing that with everything from now on just so I get a better idea of what the products are like.

So yes if I had completely normal skin and eyes then I would go for it over and over just for value wise and the fact it was a good product to wear. Unfortunately that's not the case but then again that makes me who I am.

Hope you all enjoyed this review for today, I know that I have been quiet for a while and I have been trying new products but trying to keep my usual ones in as well.

See you all in the next one! X
