Reviewing Clinique Moisture Surge Collection

As it says in the title I will be looking into the moisture surge collection, I bought everything myself like I do for all my reviews. I bought everything that would help give moisture to my skin and see if it would help rehydrate my skin and also if it would become a new routine for me.

I went into boots and picked up;

- Hydrating super charged concentrate for £35

- 96 hour hydro filler eye concentrate for £27.50

- 72 hour auto replenishing hydrator from between £12 - £48

- Intense skin fortifying hydrator for £36

- All about the eyes reduces circles and puffs for £27.50

I'll go through each of the items and let you know what they are meant to do and as much information as I know. But you can always go on the site for more information either on the boots site or clinique themselves.

For the hydrating super charged concentrate;

- Super lightweight

- Gives the skin a moisture boost

For the 96 hour hydro filler eye concentrate;

- Super lightweight

- Works for all skin types

- 96hr crease plumping hydration

- Tightens and brightens the skin

- Water gel formula

For the 72 hour auto replenishing hydrator;

- Works on all skin types

- Works for 72 hours leaving the skin plump and hydrated

- Helps hydrate and plump up fine lines

- Gel to cream formula

- Skin stays soft and comfortable in changing climates

- Can be used as a 5 minute mask

For the intense skin fortifying hydrator

- Multi purpose gel cream giving a hydrating boost to skin

- Works on very dry to dry skin

- Hold in moisture for 24 hour hydration

- Helps improve skins natural moisture barrier with continued use

- Dry skin will be smoothed and softened

For the all about the eyes reduces circles and puffs

- Cream to gel formula

What I think of it and is it really worth spending this amount of money on this collection.

Me personally, I won't be buying this collection again. I used this for two weeks and it ended up drying my skin out more than help it add moisture back. My trouble area most of the time is around my eyes they are alway red looking when I'm having a bad eczema time, so I thought that most of this collection would help sort all my problems out but it set me back further making my skin very dry and sore to the point I was having to pat or fan my skin as it was getting so sore! In the end I was putting an ice pack on my face to try and bring the redness down and stop the itching. I had to go back to my Botanics Hydrating night cream, it has taken me over a week to get my skin looking "normal" for me and having no dryness anywhere I also paired it with Dermalex eczema cream (I will do a review on that cream soon) but it's made all the difference to my skin going back to what I know.

I do like to branch out and try new things but I think I will always have these creams on standby for emergency.

I did however like the eye cream I feel that did help reduce the circles and brighten my eye area up more than before. I think if my skin wasn't so sensitive to aloe water then I think it would be a very good investment if you have the money to buy everything in one hit or maybe just try one out and see what you think before going into more of the collection.

Also if you get on with aloe water then this collection can work for you but if you are like me and your skin doesn't agree with aloe water or anything with aloe in it then I think it would be best to try something else. But like I'll always say you can always try these things out if you want it is completely your choice to try anything I review out. I'm just giving you my opinion and my honest review on the products I buy to try out for you and this blog.
