Is the M.A.C foundation good on eczema skin?

How is everyone's week going? Amazingly I hope, if not then tomorrow is a new day and we just have to think more positive about things rather than get frustrated. Anyway let's get into this review/talk.

Today I thought that I would do a foundation review from M.A.C cosmetics.

I have never tried any of their foundations or makeup as I always found them so pricey and admittedly it was one of those times where I wanted to have it but I didn't want to spend that much money on makeup.

This is the M.A.C Studio Fix Fluid. I got the shade NW10 which is very fair beige with rose undertones for fair skin, which I honestly didn't think I would be this shade but then never trying this brand before I didn't know what to expect.

I bought this from the Mac store in Bath which is the closest one to me.

There is 30ml in each bottle.

As I said before I got the shade NW10 which matches me well I didn't think it would, I can say it doesn't smell nice it's not one of those that can just smell like makeup (if you know what I mean) to me and others that I asked, to them it reminds them of paint but I can say that the smells goes when you are applying it, it has a medium coverage and you can build it up to the coverage you want. It sets really well with the powder you use.

I know it doesn't look like it would match but after it settles on the skin and everything is set. It really does look good.

I really do enjoy this foundation, I would have preferred a different way of buying it, and what I mean by that is you can buy the foundation but then you need to buy the pump separate, which to me is odd as with every other brand that you can buy from the pump is with it so that will be something you need to look at if you want to use a pump for the foundation. In my opinion it is a good product, I don't have anything bad to say about M.A.C as I've not really dived into their products or brand but I have seen lots of people use them and say some good stuff so it's why I had to try it and also I need a new foundation so thought why not try M.A.C as I had been dying to try it for so long and just plucked the courage up and went for it. For the price of a foundation I'm not mad at but then again you are paying for the name so just be aware of that if you are thinking about buying this. There is other foundations that can do what this foundation does for less money but I just really fancied having a M.A.C product for the first time.

Does it affect my skin?

No I haven't noticed any changes to my skin, I haven't had any breakouts or soreness to my skin, so I think overall my skin has accepted it as I have now been using it for over a month or so now and I have only really had an issue with it is when my skin breaks out because I am having mother nature call on me, which is not very fun. Even if I have dry skin it won't cling to it like some other foundations do and make it look obvious to everyone. I will say I don't know how it will affect your skin as I'm only commenting on how it truly affects me and my own skin. But I do think that it is worth trying out even if it just for the one time. But I know that you can go ask for samples in there so maybe instead of buying a whole bottle just see if you can get a sample to try first, then if you do like it then go and get a full size.

My final thoughts on this is that I am willing to try more from this brand and would like to see how their other products can affect the skin, I have picked up some of their lipsticks but haven't tried them yet so I will give them a go and will write a blog on them to let you know if they are really worth buying. Some people say M.A.C is a dying brand but every time I go into their shop there are always so many people in there you can't move for people. They are very clean and organised in there, and the staff are really nice and willing to help you out if you want it. Plus it's always nice to actually help you pick a foundation shade that will match you and not just pick one and hope for the best (I have done that many times and many times I wish I could have taken it back for a different one).

Well I think that is all I can say on the M.A.C foundation for now if I try a different one I will let you all know but I probably won't do a full post on it, I might do a smaller one on Instagram or my Facebook page. Unless you guys want me too?
