How does the Jaclyn Hill palette do on sensitive eyes?

Hello everyone,

Hope you have all had a lovely week so far! I know I have managed to get a blog up during the week and I'll do my best for another at the weekend.

Today I'm getting into the Jaclyn hill palette by morphe.

To start with this was my first piece of makeup from morphe, this review won't apply to all of their makeup just this palette, whatever else I try from them then I will give my opinion on it and also make sure that it won't affect my skin.

I bought this off cultbeauty.com and I got this for £37

It has pressed mattes, shimmers, glitters, satins and foils you definitely get more of an impact when you wet your brush with the foils and glitters.

If you want more information then please visit the site I bought this from or morphe themselves. If you have any more questions about anything I can say morphe customer service is very helpful and they will definitely help you with anything.

Anyway let's get going with the review.

Look at the amount of colours you have in this palette you have 35 shades in here, you have so many options of looks from this palette.

My eyes were instantly drawn to the blue and the pinks. So I did go and try those first, I'm not a makeup artist so I haven't perfected the art of blending but I'm slowly getting there with practice.

Here are the swatches from all the shadows I have to do them in stages like this as I can't fit them all on one arm and can't get all the shade names on one picture.

My thoughts on the palette;

I like the palette I love all the colours in this and I can safely say I'm surprised I did like half the colours in here I of course like the pinks, but when I was drawn to the blues and greens, they were out my comfort zone. I have tried most of the colours in here and tried to see how they blend, and they do blend out really nice but some colours I found don't go well together but this is just my personal opinion on it, some just seem to blend into one or they didn't want to blend at all. So some of them I didn't like in that way but I do think that happens in some palettes you like the look of them all and then some don't perform the way you hope.

Will I buy this again?

No I won't get this one again, like I said at the start this is the first palette that I have got from morphe, so I'm not going to base my whole experience from this one item, I will get something else from morphe and see how that will work for me. The reason I won't buy it again is the fact it makes my eyes water loads so it's rather annoying when I stand there to do my makeup and get everything looking good and then my eyes just stream. To me some of them feel chalky and they have a lot of fall out for me comparing to my other ones that I have. Just seems to me I have more fall out than Jeffree Star but when I started to use it I wasn't thinking that it would be the same or better than others I just take it as it is.

But I do like the colours in it and yes I am gutted at the fact I can't use it and I really wanted to make it work but after trying it 3 times and it still making my eyes react like that every time clearly my skin/my eyes can't get on with whatever is in the shadows, I tried every different shadow thinking that it could be just one thing but since it affects me like that I can't continue using it.

I hope that you have enjoyed this blog I have for you, I know managed to get another up for you guys! Let me know if any have used this palette let me know what you guys think of it, or whether you plan on buying it?

See you all in the next one! X
