Blue blood pallete

I hope you all are having a good week so far.

Today I thought about doing the blue blood palette by Jeffree Star as you know I love his products and I did a blog on his blood sugar palette.

As you can see from the pictures it is an amazing looking palette I have never seen anything like it before, you always get the nude palette so this was a refreshing one to see there isn't many palettes out there that will make you look twice at.

You have so many looks to go with this, ok it does look scary at first when you see all the blues but I have used this and there are some looks you can get from it that aren't too over the top.

You need to know where to put them and also have the confidence to just walk out and feel amazing with the look you created.

I have done some swatches for you, you'll get the feeling of what the colours are like on the skin.

It is definitely one of those palettes that when you swatch it or wear them on the eye you do get a better idea of the colours.

What do I think of the palette?

Well I think it's one of those that you really have to think to yourself, will I wear all the shades in here, will I be able to create looks and feel comfortable wearing them, will I happily go back to this palette and use it again. These are the questions I asked myself before buying it and also I knew I wanted something different to switch things up and not be the same all the time. But does this work on my skin, yes it does as it's the same formula as blood sugar so if that one worked for you then this one should as well.

Would I buy this one again?

I don't think I would buy this again, don't get me wrong I think this palette is stunning and I think someone with way better makeup skills than simple me can pull amazing looks with this, but me on an average day going to work, or out with my partner for a day out I can't seem to find something that will look nice for a day at work, yes if you look there are colours there that I can use and I do use, but I want to use the blues in the palette but I feel it's something you can wear on a night out or to take a picture of and share it on social media. Like I say I like it but I personally won't buy it again, not for the 9/10 shades that I use everyday.

To be honest I had a comment the other day when wearing these darker colours someone thought I had a bruise, like I say I know I'm not a makeup artist so I know that the make up skills aren't amazing but I try something different everyday and for me they just don't do it for me and that's ok you clearly can't like everything that comes out and it's choosing what you want and getting the things you fall in love with, I know I did fall for this palette but then I know not to go for it again and I tried it so I don't need to go back to it again.
