Hello everyone,
Hope you have all had an amazing week, I come at you with this blog on my new laptop! I managed to get it here in time for this blog.
So today I'm looking into the famous ABH Modern Renaissance palette. I fell in love when this first came onto the makeup scene, I wanted it so badly that every time I got paid I wanted to buy it but then other things would catch my eye and I'll forget about it.
Anyway I managed to get it in the end and now I can write a review on it.
I got this from cultbeauty.com or beautybay.co.uk
- Price - £46
- 14 shades
- 3 metallic shades and the rest are matte shades
- Can be used dry for a sheer look or wet for a bolder look
- Felt cover does get dirty easily

I mean look at the colours!! So many possibilities with this pallet.
I have been wearing this for over a week straight and I still haven't used all the colours yet. Doesn't even look like I even used it. I am drawn to a few certain colours and the pay off with these pigments are amazing, you really don't need a lot of product on the brush for there to be pay off. I found you can build the colour up if you don't fancy wetting the brush with setting spray. Also the colours blend so nicely together they don't just merge into one muddy looking colour. I know on some lower priced eye shadows they can do that, but I have seen the budget friendly pallets do really well these days so you don't have to go for something super expensive to get good shadows. Then again you don't always need to spend a lot of money to have good make up.

Here are the first 7 shades in the pallet ( I do them row by row)
Not the best at swatching but you get the idea of what the colours look like on someone that has fair skin like mine.

Here is the second row on my skin.
Shall I buy this again!?
Yes I would buy this one again, ok yes I do like every shade in here to start with which I find is a good thing as you don't want to be buying something that you aren't going to use everything inside it then it becomes a waste of money, but also I love the way they blend and also these don't affect my eyes at all, I never assume just because something cost more means that it won't affect me and I won't have any issues with it which I am very happy with, I always worry when it comes to things being around my eyes as I know it will take me months to get my skin back to normal again. I have to say I really don't want this to end as I really enjoy it.
Well there isn't much more I can say about this pallet, you must go and try it for yourself as I don't think you'll regret it at all. Just be careful as some of the ingredients can stain a little but nothing to bad.
Let me know what you think of it, can you see yourself buying this or do you already have it and love it like I do let me know either way.
I hope you all enjoyed the blog!
See you all in the next one! X
